Cambria County

Took the boy to Lake Roweena and he got 2 trout in 2 days. Lots of crappie being caught, and he got a nice perch. However, no size to the crappie. Attempted to fish Howell's run today and saw one hole with a good amount of fish, but no luck. Didnt seem to want anything, live or artificial. Walked about a mile downstream and saw no trout in any of the other holes. Talked to a few guys that said they hit stewart run earlier. Lots of fish, but nothing hitting either. Anyone else having these kind of problems this year, or is it just me? Also, has anyone went out for anything other than trout? Just curious if the bass are getting active, or if the toothy critters are biting.
