twin lakes opening day
I don't get to go to the middle of nowhere to fish anymore so I will be at twin lakes opening day, who else will be there? I know it's a terrible idea lol

I will never forget years ago me and a buddy got their like 5am we were so happy to get a GOOD spot no people anywhere ! WE were at the upper lake that they didnt stock ! only reason I found out I went for a walk looked down at the mass of people at the lower lake! went down their squeezed in got 8 in like 8 cast .

6 trout and 2 bass, missed at least 5 trout. one of the trout was 21" another was 17" the rest were around 15-12" here's the biggest

Pretty crazy but that corner is a little secluded because of the boardwalk so it was nice. Everywhere else was a nighmare lol the dam on the upper was shoulder to shoulder, boats and interesting people everywhere.. by 9 i dont think there was an open spot on either lake, even the wooded side on the lower was packed

The boaters seemed to have been doing the best, there were alot of decent size ones being caught, like 16-18" only saw like 2 others with fish as big as mine tho. That spot i was in was a gold mine =)

It was a lot better before that tree fell in & attracted more guys than fish.lol that tree will soon look like a Christmas tree. sam

BTW,Nice rainbow,I was told by a friend that was there when the PFC stocked,that they put in some very large fish in each lake & that the club also stocked some very nice trout also. sam
