    Pine Creek sucks.

Try Mingo Creek, Montour Run, Kings Creek/Aunt Clara Fork, Big Sewickley, Connoquenessing or Little C, Traverse Creek or Little Chartiers Creek. Anywhere but Pine Creek.

Agreed, it is awesome.  After all it is a blue ribbon trout fishery.

Fishes much the same as it has for me the past 15 years. NP restoration a blessing. If you didn't learn to catch fish in high water conditions last year you were not gonna or you were not trying.
I bet rsquare will be on pine and is trying to decrease pressure.

Nope, just having a little fun with the new guy. I'll be 15 miles from Pine Creek with my 8 year old son taking charity from a rich man that stocks silly numbers of big trout in a private lake.

Have no idea what fishing on Pine Creek is like. While NP Lake was drained, I was doing a lot of work down that way and it always looked like a nasty mess. For those that like to fish it, I do sincerely hope that the restoration of the lake improves the quality of Pine.

If you choose montour, take the path down behind ventana hills/brother grimm. Fishing the swimming hole or anyhting along Montour run road and you'll be bumping elbows.

If I agreed with you we’d both be wrong.

That's pretty far down Pine, and with the high water event going on right now it "might" not be as bad as it could hve been.

It's definitely crazy.  I work just up the road and traffic is all redirected.  Yes, thankfully for the high water most of the fuel hopefully washed out.
