Shhhhhhhhhh!!!!

The hatchery is supposed to be releasing the Steel today. Making the 300 mile trip on Friday. Should be one good last trip!

    I went up a few weeks ago and according to the guy I spoke with (and what I saw) there was only 1 pen to release. They are now only anesthetizing a few fish they want to examine, pump their stomachs ect, the others they try to take the eggs without sedation.

    Clint, someone told me a few weeks back that some fresh fish were coming up the ladder as the old fish were beginning to recede... as said though, I was only told and I didn't see for myself.

    There was a decent push of chrome as dropbacks first started showing up a few weeks back in the lower end... Alot got by with the higher flows as well. Im sure most of us folks on this board would love to get some first hand info regarding the hatchery status from a local like yourself

    great news my brother and I are heading up this fri staying in the lower end this time should not be as many people 1st day of pa trout is sat.
