Nonsense Aside - Where you fishing this weekend?
Okay. The time is near. Where you going and what are you doing? No negativity on this thread please, if you don't like to fish for trout, great, keep it to yourself.. Going to Mayburg and fishing Tionesta creek at the bridge and upstream, like usual. Hoping to run into some friends and board members up there I have known for awhile. If you are up there, come to the top row of camps and find camp Seacoaster if you want to visit.

Heading to indian creek after a job interview and hopefully catch the first trout of opening day on the fly.
If I agreed with you we’d both be wrong.

I'll be sitting at home recouperating from a bad fall several weeks ago that required surgery. Will be anxious to read all the pros and cons of where "you" fished the first day and about the idiots you encountered and all the stupid things you saw others do. I am also looking forward to hear about that big one that got away, the son or daughters first trout, unusual catch and any other unusual happening. First day fishing stories are always interesting and/or amusing. I'll miss not being out there swinging flies and bait in the combat zone. Good luck to all, even if you're not fishing.

Was planning to head to a friend's camp and fish Tionesta, but plans fell through as they so frequently do. On Friday night, I will be heading to the same "camp" on a local ditch as I have for the past 15 years. It remains to be seen whether I fish for more than an hour or so...

Hitting up Chest Creek in Clearfield county, then midday coming home to take my son to Lake Roweena. @bassboatbill- I love laurel hill. Havent been there in years though. My dad used to take me and my brothers a few times a year. Do you fish above the bridge toward the lake, or below in the delayed harvest? About 10 years ago, i had a pike attack a trout I caught near the mouth of the lake. Was never able to hook it though, as it catch it on the side. Definitely a memory I will never forget. My dad was about 55 at the time, and he said he never seen something like that in his life. I caught a few other pike out of there other times. Ever land one in there while trout fishin??
