haha nope this was the first day of the season. and i had plenty of people around me. this was no private stream by anymeans. def a stocked trout.  but i would have to say the most beautiful stocked brown i ever caught. the colors and markings were amazing and even the fins looked nice. almost looked like a wild brown at first.

to be honest i got off at the mifflintown exit and drove past the sheetz about 2-3 miles and the first bridge that you cross i parked there. there is a bunch of solar panels in the field downstream of the bridge. i was at the end of that field at a nice hole that they always throw a few buckets in. must be about 6-7 feet deep because i never can see the bottom even on a low clear day. and the water was up and green.  to bad it was the ONLY STOCKED trout i caught from that hole that day. i was there for 2 hours and caught three wild browns along with the big one. my buddy caught two rainbows from there later after i left. but not alot of people catching many the first couple hours. i think the rain and cold temps might have played a factor.

Well a lot of times those big brown trout will drive all the other fish out of the hole if they've been in there a while, so I understand thay

    Awesome looking fish, congrats.

FYI - For your own sake, you might want to be a little less descriptive on your location. You are introducing a lot of folks to your spot. You don't want to crowd yourself out of your own spot... I've done it to myself before. Creek name and general location is more help than anyone on here needs. Save the fine details for your family and buddies. Unless you are looking for ALOT more "buddies".
