photo upload?

OK! I am new to this forum and can't figure out how to upload a picture of myself for my profile, everything I try tells me that my photo is too large. I will try it here and see what happens!

    Best thing to do
     
    Create a photo bucket
     
    Upload your picture to there
     
    Go back to your screen where you can view all of the pictures you uploaded
     
    Scroll over the picture do not click go down to IMG or something. And click it it will come up COPIED
     
    then come back to here and paste it. Go to the capital letter IMG and make them lower case img [IMG] ajlkdjgalkvkalsfj [IMG]
     
    For a profile picture you need to go into I believe paint and resize it or yes it will be too large. Hope this helps boss

    What a pain in the butt to put a photo in here there has got to be an easier way? Had to go and make what is called an avatar?
    Didn't know what that was till now!!!!!!!!

    Picture is in my profile but doesn't come up on my posts, like yours with the two bass with no shirt on.

    Did you put a picture under profile pic and under avatar?

    Go to photobucket download disired photo then edit it down to 100x70 size, save to my pics then upload off of my pics to your avatar. I just did it and if this old fart can do it you can too.

    Set up photobucket account, put photo in, sized it, now how do you get it here?

    Go to FishErie.com Discussion Board there is a top thread post about posting pics or do a search there are numerous posts on this subject

    Eman89so has it right but Photobucket also has an editor and a resize option built in
