I hit the Connellsville area again today. I only caught two. Both nice sized rainbows. Water is slightly stained, a little high, but very fishable.

i hit whittset this evening....not one catch..had one good hit but that was it between the 2 of us..was a bit high and slightly stained...glad to get out though...

If you got a tagged fish, and it was a Smithton Tag, that fish has been in there for what, 5-6 years anyhow.  Smithton quit tagging that long ago.
 
Went over yesterday with a pal.  Water was perfect, however the fish were not cooperating.  We each got 1 and lost 1.  Fished about 3 hours.

i'm thinking of heading down to whitsett this saturady the 15th around 5:00 as long as the weather is decent. still havent fished yet this year and im dying to go.

ya I do know what I was thinking I didnt expect a W.N trout to be up past the pump house . I got two cases of beer so far . actually I got another one where the tag was taken off and released above ceder creek .

Was out yesterday at Cedar Creek Park, water was clear as day but was ripping through there. Walked up and down the trail for about 4 hours and didn't catch a thing. Seems like a real good place if you have waders or a boat

if you walk down past the first set of little rapids you will see a big flat rock on shore fish that area .

I hope that brown made it back into the river, what a fish! I know the blue tint near the eye is usually indicitive of a wild fish, but I thought wild fish in that river were rare. Great catch.

Yes he is alive and well to fight another day!

I didnt have my scale but it was 21" long and around 15" girth for an estimate of around 6lbs

Any decent catfish spots on the yough? thinking about heading down this weekend if it stays nice

Weekend isn't looking too nice right now. You may want to try and get out tomorrow or Friday if you can.

LOTS of cats in the stretch from Turner Valley to the confluence at the Mon. I catch them all the time by accident in the deeper spots.

I never fished that area I would love to check it out . I also want to do point marion this year water looks so nice their .
went today below ceder creek got 8 2 brown not as big as above rest were rainbow . I seen guessing 12 golden trout after messing around trying to get one on lure I ran down to west newton for lunch got meal worms hooked one not real big but I spent 2 hours trying to get him so it was a moral victory . Areal nice BIG MAN was in a green tub fishing he did pretty good also on worms their. he to ld me yesterday a guy pulled out over 12 on worms . I was right in the rapids all day lost 6 . fish hit different in fast water I always troll so I had to pay attention better . tomorrow I'm putting in at ceder creek fishing 70 bridge to pump house . 16 ft. lowes with mercery jet if you see me wave !! also look for new red jeep in lot .

fished smithton and cedar creek (for about an hour) yesterday. i did see the big guy in the green boat but did not talk to him. i wont disclose the exact number of fish i caught, but the total number rhymes with zero
