PI Bass/Pike

Has anyone been out to Presque Isle the last few days? With this cold front, wondering what kind of luck you are having?

    We came away with 12 Largemouth tonight. Fished the end of East Pier, as the sun was setting. Started slow, but right when the sun was going down they were started to smash some crank baits.

    Chilly night, but turned out to be a pleasant night out on Presque Isle.

    Lots of smallmouth in the bay right now...lots.

    If if just had fun catching a mixed bass. I mean I've been having a lot of success on white spinnerbaits and white flukes its awesome. One minute pike a bit later bass

    Another good night at East Pier. Between my better half, and myself...we walked away with 19 nice large mouth. Really no small ones, as they were all decent size ones. Loving crank bait with an orange in it, as that seemed to be the successful color of the night. I could've sworn that with this cold front it would have slowed down a bit, but it hasn't. Also caught a little pike. A nice little surprise of the evening. Ahhh love Presque Isle =)

    How is water clarity in the Bay?

    I can't take it anymore, I've got to get up there. I can only take some many trips per year to the Isle, because I rent a boat each time. So I'm very picky planning around weather/lake conditions. But it sounds like it's worth the risk (of them turning off or dealing with some rain).

    I think I'll head up within the next week. Thanks for all the updates guys it's a big help!
