My techniques are listed here there are plenty of others with many more. I've never fished little beaver creek before so I do not know the size of the stream. But for a small to mid sized stream this is my goto setup: 9 ft noodle rod, light action reel(pflueger supreme), 4lb flourocarbon(my first year using it $10 at walmart, why not? I think its berkley flouro). My rigs are single eggs on size 14 salmon egg hooks(Atlas mikes chinook eggs natural color), pack of wax worms, 2 dozen minnows, doz or so red worms, I just use one of those variety packs of weights depending on how I want to fish, I like using spinners with a minnow trailer hence the minnows(I use panther martins in the orange color w/ gold blades the smaller sized ones, I don't know the weight of it off hand probably the 1/16 oz spinners), and a couple small snap on bobbers if the water is discolored. I've always caught fish so I know all my methods work for me, but you never know. I also use smaller than normal hooks usually 14's or 12's I buy the red and gold daiichi slamon egg hooks and use those almost for everything. I'm sure others have far better set-ups than mine, but it works for me. Good luck, once you start stream fishing, lake fishing just isn't as exciting, at least to me. Just my $.02.
If I agreed with you we’d both be wrong.
