10th Annual Oil Creek Outing ~ 2012

It's been a short and mild winter this year (yippee!) and I know it's a little early to start thinking about the annual outing, but maybe it's time to start planning it. I read on the PA Fish commission's site that the area downstream from the bridge at Petroleum Centre will be stocked on Thursday, May 3rd. Mother's Day is Sunday, May 13th this year.

Last year's outing never happened because of the huge amount of precipitation in May.

The outing is open to all of this site's members and their friends. This is a excellent chance to put a face on a screen name and to maybe develop some new friendships. In the past we usually voted on a date in which it will be held. The majority rules. I vote for Sunday, May 6th.

I am never off on sundays...it's my busiest day! But whatever the majority says is fine with me.

So....we can meet that day in Oil Creek State Park (Petroleum Centre) at the big pavilion.
