Pine Creek Delayed Harvest

Plenty of fish, or just a few guppies like the previous years?

    I don't know about Pine creek, but I may check it out in the next few days. I was at the Bull Creek DHALO today and there weren't too many fish stocked yet. The ones that I did see were feeding pretty heavily, rising for bugs and chasing baitfish. I'll keep the thread posted if I head to Pine. It'll depend on how much of Bull Creek that I find free of pressure. One of my favorite holes was camped when I got there today and when I left. After that much harassment, I wouldn't stick around to bother those fish.

    I fished the DHALO for a couple hours last Saturday. It was high. Wherever they were, it must've been a good hiding place.

    They're gonna stock it again on April 17. I don't think most fish hold in there very long. And for good reason.

    The only thing I can think is how bad the stream was the last 2 years while they worked on North Park lake. Since the lake has been filled back up Pine seems to be getting back to good fishable water.

    I fished the far downstream part of the delayed harvest today and caught 3 trout in less than 30 minutes. Didn't look silted up to me
