    Anywhere there's weeds with bait fish is the main thing but covering a lot of water is really critical. I've been hitting Presque Isle bay but thinking about trying Lebouf soon

    I went down and waded in Thompson for a bit, I had no luck. Shad were busting on the topwater like crazy, they were jumping all over the place!

    This is the first yr I've fished for pike, does anyone have any basic spots at the peninsula they can recommend for me?

    Just cover water and throw hard baits eventually you'll hook into them

    Yup , what he said , thats how its done. Right now most of em are spawning in the cabbage....soon they will come out and feed. Have fun...
