Fished the far South end last night and went 0 for 0. Thought for sure it would be a nice spot, had a nice gravel bar where the creek came in. Had a hard time fishing rapalas though with all the weeds, switched to jigs and that was a little easier but still nadda. Need to find some new spots, it's tough though when you don't know all the access areas.

Well we only managed 1 eye last night along with 4 bass and a crappie. I tried the hot steel on and off all night no hits on it. The walleye was caught on a f-9 silver and black rapala.

I trolled for 7 hours today for eyes and got skunked. Did get 12 crappie and 3 pearch trolling though. Nice size slabs. All over 12". Pearch were on the small side though. Used #5 and #7 silver raps all day.

Didn't do too hot on the 'eyes saturday night. jokerball had 1 short & I had what I think was a hog break me off. Was a good bite for just about everything else though... got a few smallies, bunch of channel cats, and brought home 10 nice slabs.    Also got a good laugh out of the guys in the canoe with the outboard... a couple of gems...said in a drunken yell... 'dats da way ma gran-pappy did it!!' 'all I have left to lose is my dignity!!' LMAO...thanks guys.

thursday night caught one 19 inches friday caught 2 largemouths and a 14inch eye saturday 3 eyes 20, 19 and 17 inch last night a catfish, largemouth and a 14 inch eye think im taking tonite off to catch up on some sleep and ill be back at it tomorrow hopefully the cold front doesnt affect them too much

Thanks for all the good info guys fished all day Sun. in the kayak got a lot of looks from everyone and comments on the boat.
Ended up with about 30 nice slab crappies and one 13" perch.
No eyes though, trolled raps for a while with no luck.

Thanks..the eye was 27.5" As much as I would like to say I caught it, I didn't! It was the guy with me. I did have one on just as big but couldn't get him in all the way. I did catch the other legal one...looks tiny compared to that hog! The big one's we had on were back in a small bay where a stream comes in to the lake.

Just got back from fighting the wind and waves. Managed a 16 incher and lost one that was probably closer to 20 if not over I think it will be my last trip fighting white caps tho its not much fun lol
