Who says there is no sausage left?

Glen & Bob's Annual Steelhead Season Sausage Report

This years saw 120 lbs. of sausage consumed on the creeks. This was slightly lower than the 128 lbs. of last year. Rounding down the average sausage length of 11.75 inches by 1/2 an inch. You come up with 11.25 inches per sausage or [with 4 links per lb] 45 inches per lb. Which made this year a total of 2,400 inches. Considering consumption of an average of 126 lbs. for the last ten years. In ten years we have eaten 26,700 inches. Unlike Mr. Nales, I have pics

Thanks Glen. Us regular fishermen can only dream of putting those kind of sausage numbers up!

That's hilarious! Sounds like you guys had an off year, but still came pretty close to your average. You're going to need 132 lbs this year, to keep up with that 126lb avg pace, and remember pics or it didn't happen.

Must be fishing those NY tribs; Everyone knows a 120+ lb sausage year isn't attainable fishing PA only, with all of the sausage poachers and Germans that we have here around Erie.

Charcoal has a pheromone-like effect on me; or maybe like a moth to a flame. My goal for next season is to hit the coveted 100 yard mark even though Glen says it isn't about numbers . 100 yards of sausage. Yumm.
You couldn't fish with 2 nicer guys.

You still have one of my favorite lines of all time. You were in mid story and took a bite of brat. Story continues for a sentence or two. Stop again and say, "what am I putting in my mouth?"
