Nope , havent gone in 6-7 years. I might have to buy something thats way overpriced and cant use tomorrow. Besides the last time I went it was all about lodges and guides and charters.

I want to see new products and gear , something I can afford to buy on the spot. But thats just me.

Has it changed ? from what I just described ?

Thats disappointing to hear. I was hoping I was wrong.

I only went last year because of the seminar on the "sliding dipsy" and I picked up some heavy spoons for jigging smallies and they work pretty good for pike. Pretty much a bunch of guys who bought stuff in bulk

Last time I went a couple of years ago it was mostly guides trying to book hunting and fishing trips. It was about the same last year when I went to the big show in Cleveland at the IX center. I was rather disappointed in both shows and have not gone back and most likely will not.

I quit going to the sport shows about 6 years ago for the same reasons. I used to hit three a year at times now I'm down to zip. They are great if your looking for a guided trip either local or international. I think most of my future fishing and hunting trips will be self-guided and more often than I've done in the past.

The Cleveland show always had some. About the best show to go on the last day but you miss the super stars.

No manufacturer reps but there was a nice little show this past weekend in Niles, OH. Lots of gear/tackle for sale.

Same thing happened down here in Louisville. No equipment shows just a bunch of vacation and guide services. And every boat they had was a bowrider or a wake boat, or a pontoon.
