Went to try to meet up with walter after work tonight. Threw stick baits for 2hrs, but he never showed. I do know that the 2 beavers around me were not happy that I was there.

I drove past the spillway this evening right before dark. I have never seen it as packed as it was today!!! This weather must have them flocking out. 50+ people on shore, 15+ boats and guys out on the breaker wall even. I was just out yesterday and there were 3 walleye caught 2 were legal just at 15. Well guess I'll be out wading or on the boat.

The worst day hunting or fishing will always be better then the best day at school or work!

Going to try to head up Sunday. A buddy of mine caught 2 keeper eyes last weekend in 5 hours down by the damm near the beach. This weekend should be better.

If the water is down 1'-2' Espyville is tough. That launch is shallow to start with. But you say the dock are in at Orchard?

Some people said they did ok... My boat ended up with 1 slab and 15 jumbo. We couldn't pay an eye to bite..... Really nice day. When is the last time ya got to fish in March with no shirt and wishing ya would have worn shorts? And got the first sun burn in for the year..

Fished a sand bar on the Ohio side yesterday, and today.
Sat. caught four fish, Sunday caught a six fish limit in 16" to 19" range, and also a few throw backs. fish were all caught on jig and minnows in less than 3' of water. So instead of drifting drop a anchor and try jigging, you'll catch more fish!

was able to get out for a few hours on sunday morning. father and i caught 13 crappie in the 9- 13 inch range, 2 walleye, both were 16 inches, and 1 smallmouth that was 14 inches. all fish were caught drift fishing, most with 1/4 ounce jig tipped with med. fathead. one walleye caught on a 4 inch creek chub. had most action in 10 to 12 feet of water. 1 walleye caught in 6 feet.

Fished this morning in the wind. had to pick through the small ones, but ended up with a limit of keepers, perch are starting to move up into the shallows, as are the smallies. jig and minnow seem to be the ticket.
