Mtn man, you're squeezing that fish too hard, you're hands look dry, you're too close to the rocks, and your nails need cut.

ROFL. You also need to hand feed it Italian wax worms, read it a bedtime story, and nurse it back to health after landing it :)

I like to pre-chew my wax worms so that the fish exerts less energy

It's a Vulcan nerve pinch. Easier to photo than breading it in bank grit.

Felt like opening day at twin today. Hammered em yesterday all by myself, then today, fishing the same spot, 2 duuds posted up a whopping 5 ft from me and threw out their bobbers right across where I was casting. Broke off the spinner I had switched to on a snag and then i left. I am ready for trout season to be over.

Did whack em pretty good again for an hour or so before they stole my drift.

Really? I was fishing about 15ft from an inlet, the fish were stacked in the moving water. they came up right beside me, caster out right across and in front of where I had been casting, completely blocking off the entire area I was fishing... Stupid how? I wasn't exactly p-o ed about it, they just showed a lack of common courtesy toward a fellow angler. I told them how id been getting them earlier and calmly left, wishing them good luck. They didn't "steal" anything, but with as few people were out, you'd think they could spread out a lil...

"stole my drift" + twin lakes = wow

And yes, I make it a point to walk around twin lakes, every day, crossing lines with people that have a free weekday and decide to use it to drift twin lakes. Yours was the seventh drift I stole that day. Slow compared to the 12 I got the day before that. The real prime-time of the drift stealing season at twin lakes though, is really about the third week of april. You've gotta time it right though, as you usually only get a few days where conditions are just right for maximum drift theft.

The fish were in current, therefore my presentation was "drifting". I hope it wasn't you, up until now I had thought u were an ok guy. Calling someone stupid that you've never met is kinda low... Thanks for showing me the kind of person you really are.

Well, if you wanna go that route, calling a post stupid on the internet is the rudeness equivalent of laughing when someone messes up song lyrics. If you can't take it, oh well.

Up until now, I thought you were kind of hypersensitive. Thanks for showing me I was right.

Now go drift twin lakes.

I know just what FishinGuy is talking about..I saw him fish the same "drift" last month. It was after heavy rain, and just as he is describing, quite a current developed and the fish were visibly stacking as if they had found a stream to proceed up...some kind of natural instinct....
And knowing that particular area, it does amaze me how two guys could bust straight in there and crowd the place. Any other time it is the least fished spot on the entire two lakes!!!! No...the idiots saw him catching and just HAD to get in there. Guys who no doubt cause aggravation on the Erie creeks as well....

Thanks for clarifying. While the thought at drifting Twin Lakes seemed a bit odd to me but not being there the day he was how could I say it was a stupid post? I thought that was a bit out of line.

Why can I no longer post pictures by pasting the location between the image brackets? Now it comes up as a linl instead of the actual picture...

Why is everyone so up tight anymore? Is it the excess exposure to political mayhem, tax season, too many TV reruns, poor stream conditions, lack of sleep thinking about fishing or just plain super sensitive to any and all comments other than your own. Fishing season is just around the corner,(for many it's right now), play nice, get your chores done, plant your grass seed now and lime so you will have time later to drown bait. All that verbal hostility does not --- OH heck, I've said enough already. Go catch some crawlers tonight you'll feel better tomorrow.

Are we talking sea level or in the mountains? You have to give more details, to vague of a question.
