Uncle John's Webcam

Just wondering if anyone knows if the webcam is not working at Uncle John's or is it a problem on my end? Thinking about heading up tomorrow and wanted to preview the water and weather conditions.

Thanks,

I've also been looking for the Uncle John's webcam for several months. Some have reported that it was working for short periods of time. However, I've NOT been able to view anything since earlier in the steelhead season.

Don't know what's preventing it from providing the usual helpful photos.

I don't look at it a lot but the last few times I tied to look at it, it was not working.

Just called Uncle John's to get a first hand answer.

It should be back up shortly. Obvious and unavoidable priorities have recently placed it on the back burner.

Makes sense to me!  Why not allow the technology to give you an immediate point of reference that you can conceivably relate to the entire watershed.

The cams are nice, but honestly the USGS water discharge gauge on Walnut will give you a much better idea of where the water has been and where it's going to be in the future on Elk.
