PFBC ?

I read somewhere that the PFBC was going to clear out some of the muck at their boat launch on Conneaut Lake. Is it happening or is it going to happen? If so when?

    Dredging to begin the first part of April and should take about a month. (6'-8' deep) Dredging also will be done in the cannal along side the parking lot. That's the word from PFBC.

    That will last for few months, till all the boats fill it back in from power loading

    I think the bigger issue is sediment build up, both developmental and agricultural run off, from the creek that flows in next to it.  The shallowest spot there is just off the creek mouth outside the confines of the walls of the "marina".  3' deep at the ramp but just outside the walls next to the creek mouth its about 18" at best.

    Well, pretty much anything they do will be an improvement. Right? You'll just have to see what kind of dredging work gets done.

    Yup its better than nothing. The weed cutting barge is pretty cool too
