Best Game Camera's?

Whats everyone's opinion on the best deer cam out there on the market today? I have the Wildgame Innovation n8d which i bought a couple weeks ago and so far so good. I also have the Wildgame Innnovations 5mp cam and I like that one as well with no problems both were pretty good price. My buddy swears by the Cuddeback cam's but they are pretty expensive I have also heard good thing about the Primos Truth cam's.. How much do MP's matter? I can barely tell the difference from my 8mp from the 5mp.. What do you all think? Ed

I had a stealth cam that went for a lonng time on a set of batteries but wake up time was a little slow, but it was cheap. I got a primos cam46 about a yr and a half ago and its a much better camera. The biggest thing I wish could be adjusted with IR cams is the amount of light it takes to switch from daytime pics to IR, because they are taken at much lower megapixels.
Advertised MP is for daytime, majority of IR cams on market take night pics at 1.3-3.0mp reguardless of daytime mp.
Primos cams are cheaper than many and dont reduce nightime pic quality as much as others, which is when the best bucks seem to show up anyway, so I would reccomend one. My buddy also has two and he likes them too. He has two wildgame innovations cams also but wasnt happy with them... poor pic quality, many washed out pics, empty pics, etc, but hey they are cheap.

If I was looking for the BEST... aka top of the line - Cuddeback/Reconyx but some models go way big buck$

I have been getting some white pictures recently on the new n8d. The stealth cam ir8 model is on sale for a good price might decide to go with that one and take the wildgame n8d back

    My options for right now are the;

    DLC Covert reveal
    Moultrie Game spy 55d
    Spypoint G4

Anyone got one? Any opinions? I like that two of these use AA batteries. Will save alot of money.

I just bought a Spypoint G4 camera about a month ago.  Battery life is very good. I have changed the batteries once since then. First set of batteries took about 2000 picture and 4 hours of video.  You have the ability to switch between picture and video at 4 different time settings.  Once the camera detects motion: for picture you can set it to take up to 4 pictures 10 seconds apart then there is a minute delay before it will take another picture and for the video its the same deal but 10 second, 30 second, 1 minute, and 1 minute and 30 second videos then another 1 minute delay.  You can also can the delay from 1, 3, 5, and 15 minutes.  I am very happy with the quality of the night time pictures.  The daytime pictures are so so but are horrible. If I figure out how to post pictures on here I will so you some examples.

Image is fairly bright in the middle of the picture but you have the ability to turn the sensitivity up and down.

After I turned the sensitivity down slightly.

Time and date are printed right on the picture which is nice

Overall, the Spypoint G4 is a great buy for the price in my opinion.

Looks really good. I don't care much about day time pictures because the big boys usually come out at night. I really like the night pics of that cam. Ed

I have a Moultrie - several years old that works good.

The only problem is the winter sun has been causing false flashes recently because the sun is low in the sky.

I blame me for not picking a better spot/focus direction to keep the IR scanner out of the eye of the sun.

I bought two of the G4's this summer and they are very nice for the money. The fact that they use AA's and have a long battery life make it worth it. The only trouble I have had yet is that one has taken a few pink screen pictures lately....not sure if maybe the cold is having an affect on it.
