Musky below Shenango dam

Someone sent me a PM in another thread that said that there are Musky below the Shenango dam.

I heard from another source that Musky are being caught at another tailrace in Ohio.

So I have some questions?

Do you think I could catch musky below the dam this time of year?

How do you get to the area below the dam?

    The Dam is on Kelly Rd. in Sharpsville, Pa. Type in Shenango Dam, Sharpsville, Pa. on Map quest for directions.

    To get to the tail water, there's a pull off area to the right by the bridge. A path leads you down to the river.

    As for your question about catching muskies this time of the year, you can catch them anywhere in the Shenago river any time of the year.

    I'm going to start there sometime over the next week, and then I am going to fish Shenango below the Pymatuning dam. Appreciate your response.

    im actually heading up that way for work today. might drop by the dam below pymy and see how it is
