trapping chubs in the winter

kinda new to trapping chubs in the pittsburgh area. i have seen a couple honey holes during warm weather months. i have checked these same areas recently and i can't even see one. i did throw the trap out this evening, what should i expect. thanks in advance

    well i guess a good spot in the summer is also a good spot in the winter. i was surprised with how many was in the trap. it is amazing that i don't see ONE swimming around.

    Some of my smaller spots for smaller minnows is hit or miss in winter but my bigger slower spot I think gets better.
