This thread is with a doubt the  first official cabin fever thread for the winter of '11-'12.   It's not my nature to defame people but, having read a number of conversations on a lodging review site, and seeing how incredibly boorish and noxious-even to the wife of a soldier- she is; I let myself go a bit. I figured F'it she's fair game.  Give Salmo great credit for letting a thread like this express itself this far without censorship. I think he expects us to be mildly insane and do the occasional, reprehensible dumb thing, but  also to police ourselves just a little. If we rip on each other, only harm- no foul.  If we want to meet in the middle of Rt. 13 and have at it, that's OK. If we go out of the box and call outside, trouble could happen. She may deserve all she gets, we just don't want to have to pay for it.  This WAS a funny thread.   If I offended anyone F'it.... I just won't add to the pile anymore.  The DSR has had equal treatment at times. I guess we need to continue upriver....  Just my half-baked opinion.

The fist time I met Dawn was I was walking by and saw a bin that said $1.00.   I walk in and rummaged through it a found a bunch of odd colored Estaz.    About 2 ft for a dollar so it was pretty good deal.   Next thing I know some crazy looking lady walks over in pajama bottoms a ratty sweatshirt and no bra walks over and starts taking to us.    Next thing I know she is rambling on on how her and her guides teach fishing the right way they do not allow snagging out back.   Also starts in on how we need a guide, her guides are the best and the best time to go if we want to catch a fish is June.   She then asks were I am from and when I say Parish then asks if I know Matt.  I say He's my neighbor and she blows a seal starting to ramble up and down on how he gave a guide a ticket out back and he was just showing the customers what "not to do on the end of a drift"  

I never did get to buy that Estaz that was in my hand and close to an hour later I finally managed to get out with my sanity and my life.   I talked with Matt a couple weeks later and he said that when he ticketed the guide there was no one really close to him and  If he was showing them what not to do he did a good job of it for at least  50 casts before he wrote the ticket.
