Fished there the last two days. Only a few fish both days. It just seems as if they're tough to find. The ice is pretty good though. I would still be sure to be careful. Heading out to Eaton tomorrow.

Hey B.Hines I took a drive by Eaton on Sunday, wasn't anybody out on it yet. If you got out today, let me know how the ice was and if you did anything. I may try Findley this weekend, there was still water in spots along the shore on Sunday.

Eaton ice is fishable. Fished it today. I would still advise caution.

I'll be on the ice Saturday afternoon. Debating on Eaton, Findley, or Chautauqua. Like to get into some crappies. Got some good pike on Eaton last year, but, the crappies were iffy

In the middle. Like I said there weren't many last year. The pan fish are hard for me to find through the ice there. Pike are pretty dependable there.

Having not fished Edinboro lake....where do/can you park to fish the lake? I've heard guys talk of the "fingers" but that area looks like a housing development. You can't park in someones front yard or can you?
Can you park along Rt.99? What about the smaller body of water on the southeast of the lake? Is it open to the public?

You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

There is a small parking area right by the beach...basically right when you get to the lake on 99 coming from downtown.

Thanks Bogey.....Looks promising for saturday as of right now.
It's a long walk to the fingers but for a mess of gills it would be worth it.

I Googled Edinboro lake and it showed a smaller body of water s/e of Rt.99 but there's not one shown on the birds eye view. Sorry for the mixup.

Ooopps.. my bad!! got the wrong guy.
Sorry ... bigbob, I meant to write 1MOFISH.

See it's like this: Two race horses met in the starting gate. One says "I know who you are. I can't remember your mane but your pace is familiar."

Now me, I can't remember a name but a face is familiar.
