Finding fishing locations

Finding fishing locations

Is there a good website to find decent streams for fishing? Most interested in fishing for trout and smallmouth.

I live in the Moon Twp area, so if anyone has any suggestions near there it'd be appreciated.

I fished at Raccoon Creek / Traverse Creek a lot this past summer, but I'm looking for some other spots as well.

    Pa fish comm website has stocking histories for all species w good maps and if you do some searching you can find helpful survey information of waters near you. Other than the fish comm website, Google earth and Google maps are amazing for finding new fishing spots.

    Good advice given above. The PFBC website has all the resources you could ever need to find some new places to fish. If you go to their trout feature page you will find an interactive map listing all trout streams in PA along with their designation.

    Montour Run is right down the road from you. It is far from being a "gem" but its a local place to catch a few trout.

    fish montour where it comes into the ohio. lots of small mouth there. Or the swimming hole up from the ymca

    Hit montour run today and didnt see one single fish!! Anyone know if it gets stocked in the winter at all?
