Heading to Erie Tomorrow

I'm heading up to Erie Tomorrow and staying the night and coming back saturday at dark. I live in the Irwin area. If you want to tag along I have a reliable ride and a +1 will keep me from sleeping in the jeep . I don't smoke and won't be at any bars late just want to fish grab a warm dinner after and make it home for new years. If you want to come with me let me know. Leaving tomorrow around 3:30 AM.

If I agreed with you we’d both be wrong.

God if only I could swing it! I need a trip to Erie! I've got some terrible cabin fever. Check out Uncle John's Elk Creek campground online for live webcams of the streams and check out East End Angler, Erie Pa (online) for up-to-date fishing reports. Let me know how you do. Good luck!

    Good luck, dUUd!

I'll be hunting tomorrow morning before you get there, and likely headed to Cleveland Saturday for New Years revely and then to cheer on the Steelers in a flatlander bar somewhere on Sunday. Be sure to post some pics of your fat steel when you get back.

It was dud. I didn't even get a single hit all friday. Fished elk access area and log jam, then went to godfrey, then to walnut marina area, then to trout run, then legion hole, then streuchen flats, and finally I-79 hole. I know a bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work, but to not even get a hit.... Was nice to get up there though its been a couple of years. If anyone saw me I was the big guy with the camo cowboy on. Maybe I just need to learn to slow down and enjoy things alittle more. I was a little miffed not even getting a single hit. O well, it won't deter me from going back up. Best of luck in 2012!
