CVA Scout or H&R Handi Rifle

Just wondering if anybody owns one of these guns. Both are single shot rifles. So if anybody can give a review it would be great.

Have shot Ruger single for years - love it-makes ya concentrate and do it right the first time or  not at all- just like muzzel blasting with  a quicker reload.

I bought a h+r handi rifle used in 30-30 10 years ago and put a 4 power scope on it sightrd it in and it was very accurate and it stayed sighted in never had to change a thing and she hunted with it for 5 years and then became boy happy so now dad carries that nice light short rifle more often than his 30-06 i am willing to say that this rifle is the best bargain around and absolutly very little if any recoil to it also. yes its a 30-30 but my daughter was an 85 pound wimp and she never complained about it.

I had a super 16 TC pistol,it was just too much gun to hold as a pistol,so I bought the forearm and stock and made a little short light single shot rifle, sweet little gun 7-30 waters.I added 3-9 Nikon scope( 2-7 Burris pistol scope came off)it's now my favorite deer gun.It shoots 1 1/2 group at 100 yards with factory 120gr federal ammo.I'd say you'll have a ball with any little single shot.

I'm leaning towards a H&R but I see the 25-06 has a 26" barrel...which i understand cause that caliber needs 24" or more for peak performance, but the CVA at 22" in 243 makes a nice lite walking gun...
