What Changes if any ?

What do you think the great PGC will change in 2012 on deer hunting? They'll come up with something new.My guess would be a about face on the HR,but $ 6 X all the tags does add up,but you would think with them selling the gas rights they would be ok with $.Time will tell.

Seems to be swinging towards a statewide split season except the SRA.

That won't make any difference if all they do is increase the allocations to make up the difference. The hunters are asking for a few more deer and the PGC is giving them the illusion they are listening to them.

I agree.  Going to the split and increasing tags was done for a few reasons. The first was going to a split to accomplish what you mentioned.  The second was to be able to increase tags to lure more non-residents into buying licenses and purchasing newly available doe tags.
