Twin Lakes Fishing Association Dec Meeting

TLFA will have their December meeting on Dec 18 at 4:15 at the boat house.

The topic will be election of officers for 2012.

    Why aren't catfish stalked in the lakes anymore?

    The fish commission has stocked channel cats years ago but no one seems to talk about them.  It seems that the trout is the main fish people want. 

    But, some people just like to fish for fish.

    idk about everyone else but I'm more impressed by the pictures of big catfish than the pictures of the trout.
    Will they ever stalk catfish again?

    Dont you know? They renamed it, they are now known as the PA Trout and Boat Commission lol

    There's more trout in there than bluegill I think, there were hundreds of trout swarming around the wall when they stalked it not too long ago. I don't keep them but i've caught more trout in that week than anything else all summer

    We caught some larger channels in the upper lake. You may want to give that a shot. We were fishing for carp and caught a few. My friends once channel was around 28inches or so.
