But they are an "official" UFA PB&J.

I think so...

This past Sunday, after fishing, I had a delicious sandwich at the Avonia Tavern.
It's called the Smokey Mountain chicken sandwich. It has a thick grilled spicy barbecue chicken
breast, ham, bacon and cheese seved on a nice roll with lots of tasty fries on the side. $7.99
I will definately go back!

changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes....nothing remains quite the same

Best restaurant in Erie - Hoss's. Great salad bar, soup, reasonably priced, clean. what more could you ask for?

Never ate at Calfonts - corner of rt.98 and 6N, but it's supposed to be good!

God does not take from your life, the time spent fishing!

For something quick right in Girard;  I like the Girard Dinor for breakfast, fried chicken, or their specials. They have great homemade pies also.  But if you feel like a short drive and have more time to spare, then it's hard to beat the Erie perch dinner and clam chowder at Syd's Place.

girard dinor is great for breakfast, good food, good price, nice people, open early.

we eat at the Avonia nearly every time we stay there and have never had bad food.
Crowleys is very good but more expensive.

We don't go to bars much so I can't offer many suggestions there, but I will say that we stopped at Hunter Jacks for a beer on the last trip and there was lipstick on my glass
