Good way to end the 11 license year about 1:30 pm started fishing and 20 min later hooked landed a 35 in. burbot was pleasantly surprised with this, caught perch also but no more burbs

I've been down there probably 10-12 nights this year and only saw 2 other guys on one night. Not many biting yet

I'm no expert but its just mind-bottling on how they are "devastating" to ERIES fishery. They go into the deepest part of the lake for roughly 7 to 8 months a year and only the cold season. If anything they help with the clean up with the shad die-off. Tried today...and thats just it tried

I know I agree it can be an issue for other areas where they can effect the general fish population. Whats really going to suck is when some idiot introduces asian carp into lake erie like the people that put snakeheads in florida

agree hope the Asian carp don't get into the great lakes. fish whisper thanks for the heads up on the water conditions at the _---__--_--_-- might head there after work Sat.

As far as fishwisper needing help to bag burbotz He's probably forgot more about fishing for them,than I know. The guy knows his burbot fishing truly.
