    It is illegal to use VHS-susceptible fish species, fish parts and eggs taken from the Lake Erie Watershed as fishbait in Commonwealth waters outside the Lake Erie Watershed except when the fish are certified as VHS-negative.

    KJH, I threw myself. This site is a good thing. I appreciate you guys letting me know that info. I will pass it on to the guys I fish with. I would not want to be the cause of a potentially bad situation for my local waters. Thanks guys.

    there is stuff that they sell at gander mtn thats similar to skein check it out sometime if you want something legal to use thats similar.
