Do they have highspeed internet at the Rick Rd. boat launch? I would like to post on Fisherie and do a little shopping while I am counting the wild steelhead population.

Not sure about intranet but they have high speed snagging and roping. The next sport coming to espn to fill the basketball void.

Do they deliver pizza and beer streamside up in the rick road section???

Seriously though we were killing them on the eastside the past 2 trips!!!!  Fished elk a few times in several areas and it is the dead sea,  same with upper walnut!

How big of an impact to the local economy is the Burpit industry?

Thank you, thank you, and thank you.
All this week I have enjoyed fishing the lower sections
away from Rick Road and enjoyed the tranquility of very few fishermen/women!
Thank you!

That's because nobody goes to Elk anymore because it's too crowded too.

I'd stop fishing the Rick Road area anyways. The local farmers are using too much water for irrigation. It's about dried up already.

All this Rick Rd. talk has me wondering. Why are the fish on the road, instead of in the creek? Is the water polluted? What caused it?

Fracking?
Russian foot fungus?
VCR disease?
Bigfeet pizz?
Blue powerbate?

Inguiring ( and, or bored ) minds want to know.

I think it's the DVD disease that fricking caused so now they have legz and don't lay eggz anymore. Watch out cause I heard they were growing arms and peopling so if you see steaks on the road don't eat em.

Sound good OK!

"i think the pfbc should turn rick road into a toll road. with so much talk of it here, the hordes of anglers heading there would pay for the steelhead stockings for a year."

There's already a troll under the bridge.

Several in fact

There were more vehicles in the parking lot at Sterretania than the Walnut Access lot on Friday.

great year on elk. still plenty of fish all thru the creek.what a thrill and challenge catching steelhead on flies. met many wonderfull fisherman.Of coarse,I never met a fisherman i didn"t like.Ocassionally i take a fish home for my freinds who love smoked steelhead and my 97year old father loves any kind of fish. i don't see anything wrong with fisherman taking a few steelhead home once in a while, just as long as they keep it in reason....
