Perch

this time of year can you catch perch off shore like you can in the spring? the water has cooled down and i was just curious. thanks

    off the piers. i love the perch. i get out for them every chance i get. i have fished for them off the piers and some other spots ,(you must learn from the locals) and have done ok. seems im always alittle late. all the locals tell me when the perch move through you can limit out in no time, but you must be there at the rite time.

    i have hit it in the spring where its been almost every cast, i just am unsure if it can be like that this time of year as well.

    It's usually pretty slow this time of year. Perchin usually heats up during ice fishin season.

    I've done good every few trips, if you don't get one in 15 mins MOVE. A few weeks ago nothing for an hour moved about 50 yards and caught almost a limit of 9 to 11 inchers

    where do you fish at? i normally go to border patrol, i really dont know where else to go.

    look across to where the other people are. under the big tower. and off of the piers.
