Thanks

With two kids in college, money has been tight this year.  For those of us who travel a distance to fish Erie, it takes more money than I have to spare right now.  So for this first time in years, I haven't made the trip.

I'm not complaining or whining about it.  As we approach Thanksgiving, I just wanted to say thanks to all of you who post pics and tell stories of your trip and simply talk about fishing.  I am reminded again and again of what a great fishery Erie is, and  what a great group of guys and gals it is that fish it.   If you can't actually be there, experiencing it all  vicariously is a beautiful thing in and of itself!

(now if I could just figure out how to vicariously enjoy a nightmare from Theresa's, I'd be all set!)

I second that. After filling my tank from the last trip up, I'll be enjoying the fishing vicariously for awhile. Thanks for the pics and stories.

Why dont you guys get together and car pool up? Meeting one another and splitting costs is a great way to go up. Take the most comfortable car/truck of the three. There's almost always a way if you put your heads and money together.
