steelhead in the bay?

Looking to do a little fishing before work and was wondering if anybody is having any success in the bay? Waterworks?

    Very tough fishin the bay right now. It's like the switch has been turned off.

    i would defenetly listen to bloodyhands. hes 1 of the locals thats been raised fishing in erie. he knows his stuff when talking about bay fishing,

    Can you fish from shore, or is it boat fishing. Never tried it, but always thought it might be a good plan 'B' if the creeks are unfishable.

    If your going to fish the bay don't fish open water. It has slowed down some but if you are going to try use heavier 10-14 pound fluro and lil cleos fish walls and in and out of inlets

    Well went anyway this morning, no steelhead but landed 5 smallmouth and 3 largemouth flipping a cleo around. Didn't have much more then an hour but was action anyway. Hope to get to Elk on Sunday.
