The UFZ has always been a favorite since it first opened. Great water and as 13 said lots of in between there.. The walk in was the short un interrupted one, the way out was the easement route.. so drake he got the dime tour..
since the flood a lot has changed there and the crossing spots became well sketchy..

sorry to put pic's on this thread, I'm just too lazy to start another..
Here are a few from the weekend trip and as said I never even took my camera out..

It is now time to harvest some game in the woods (the other sport) and hit the hard water..

Good Luck to all who venture outdoors

I like the middle of the changeover colors on the fish in pic#5 HT.

Porkys - Pa re-introduced Fishers bout 8 yrs ago. They eat alot more bark than pine, including native hemlocks, which are endangered. The Pa Game Commission just opened a season on them this Sept - 6 daily limit.

I have no idea what one would do with a porky - the state wants their numbers reduced.
Have yet to shoot one, but I will. A couple old timers told me that if you shoot a treed porky, unless you rip one up bad, it will clutch that tree with a death grip and there it stays. Not sure if that is true or just huntin lore.

Wow; looking like the old days here; scattered/multiple hijacks and blabber; I love it...lol...

Tuna; nice pics...

Porkys: lee; the 8 years I've owned the place there have always been dead porkies every year... had someone up with a dog 5 years back that actually got spiked... I've seen some huge ones dead on the road... nothing new as far as im know...

Fishers: there are plenty of those as well... they like to sun bathe on the over hanging limbs on the south bank...

Yeeeeehhhhhhaaaawwwwww.......

I used to spend 40-50 days a year there so as I said I have seen plenty of roadkill spikers.
Anyone remember Spiker? (Subtle hijack in progress)
Just not so many in 1 year and I have only been up a half dozen days this year.
I'm sure it is just cyclical but I found it interesting so I brought it up to get others feedback.

Nancy didn't get many pics, but I figured I'd put a few up since Tuna  had to show me how it's done.
My wife's sister passed away yesterday on my wife's birthday, 2 years ago another sister did the same thing. I'm going to be afraid, very afraid every 11/16 from now on.

my apologies to any I didn't get to hook up with over the last weekend.. For sure those I did get to hang with were fun times.. A long strange trip it was and the alarm clock is still going off at 4:30 am with no end in sight yet
Hoping another run in december before the hardwater sets in.. As always give me a shout.. For now I wish you all good luck and at least I can talk fishing..lol..
