The New "BOO" Review

What a beautiful day to be on the water.

Took the new Boo for a walk today to see how she worked.

Jack I hope you don't mind but I put Grandpa's old Martin reel on for the maiden voyage. Kinda liked that feel of using a reel Grandpa had used.

You were all there in spirit as it was your generosity that made this trip possible..

I think I could have chose a little less technical stream to try and learn a new casting stroke on.

Sure has a different feel to her. Much slower stroke and very powerful if you don't overload it..

Thanks again to all....

Sorry no fish pics as I got the big skunk.
Did see a real nice Wild Brookie about a foot long on a Redd.

Looks like the day itself was the reward, fish would have just been an extra cherry on top!

Bings the old Martin looks right at home on the rod. And the rod looks right at home in those surroundings. But maybe you should try it on some "stockies" first. LOL~

Some of the most bootiful pics I've seen in awhile Bing.

You got some nice shots in there, Gary.
Boo is easy to cast. Not much differetn that graphite. You'll get it, eventually. You just can't push the cast like graphite.
I might have a couple of lines for you to try. One thing about boo, there's always that one line that makes the rod sudenly pop and come alive.
Sometime, before the snow flies, we'll have to hook up.
