Mammoth Lake

Anyone having luck catching the brown trout in Mammoth Lake? I can't seem to get 'em interesting in hitting anything.

    try using an allegheny river whitefish.

    Got 5 there on live minnows last week. All caught in about a 15 minute time frame...nothing at all in the hours before or after!!!!....

    I got some to hit on small creek chubs a few weeks ago as well. Also got a couple on bright colored jigs,rubber worms, and tubes, all under a float. Always keep it moving, but not very fast. Short stop and go pulls kept them interested until one would finally bite after many many follows.
