Got skunked, didnt care.

Was fishing a pod of 20+ on Elk. Got 1 hit (on a foo fly), missed it. Just couldnt get them Steelies to hit much of anything and I threw an arsenal. Shared the hole with a fly fisherman. Nice guy, we chatted. Beautiful day. Nice time. Zen time baby. I feel good about the day overall. Drinking some Yuenglings now to end the day...lol.

    It's all about getting out on a bootyful day fish or no fish. There is no better way to finish the day than with some brewskies.

    If your in it to catch fish , and catch fish only , then you are missing out on some of the better things about fishing the cricks. The scenery this time of year is truly eye opening. Being with friends and just getting out there wetting a line. And some find it peaceful just to get away from the madness of the everyday bump and grind of work.

     Glad you made a good day out of it.

    Skunked again.....found out my waders have a hole in them. Then fished Elk Creek access 3 hours, no one had a hook up. Beautiful day though, blessed.
