7 Mile Area to Fish

I'm wondering if it's ok to fish the lake near the mouth of 7 mile? I know you can stand at the mouth and typically fish towards the creek, but what about fishing along the lakefront as long as you're staying in the water.

    You can fish both the lakefront and the creek at 7 mile.
