Smallies

I know the trout fishing is in full swing but is anyone doing any smallmouth fishing? If so have you been doing any good ? God Bless, Hock

    a friend was out on the 25th in the evening.  whacked them in 20'.  another buddy is heading out tomorrow, wind permitting.

    reef runns killa' for steelheds
    but not brown apparetly

    any structurs without a spotburn
    hold smalls
    mouths
    dropshot em at will

    Trout, your boy's got some hog's. Hock, We trolled for Steelhead a couple of weeks ago and didn't do any good. So, we decided to finish the day fish'n for bass. Fished a couple of hundred yards east of the Sunoco Cribs in about 18 to 20ft. of water and caught alot of Bass. Most about the size of the one the guy above with the red shirt. We were drift fish'n. We only got hits in a small area. We would go back out and drift thru the same area over and over. I love to catch the big fish, but I also would like to catch some smalls one too. That lets you know there is a good future!

    My Wife said, if I go fish'n one more time, she'll leave me! God, I'm going to miss her!

    I'm hoping to make it out on Saturday for one last trip.  I need some big smallies to hold me over through winter!
