Traveling to Tx

Need a little help
I'm planning on driving down to houston Tx to visit my grandkids and I was wondering if anyone might have some suggestions about fishing spots on the way down I'll be traveling rt 40 through Tenn rt 63 trough Ark and rt 65 through Kentucky I'm leaving on a Friday and plan to arrive in Houston on Sunday.
