Younger Brothers's first steelie

Well we made the trip up sat night, left pittsburgh around 11:45pm. we walked up walnut at 5am and soon found that there were already way to many guys. and ppl were fishing above manchester bridge before 5. so after the sun cam up we left there and headed east. headed to 20 and turned around there wasnt even a parking space in the lot so we went else where. we found a nice spot on a different creek that did not have to many guys fishing. and sure enough my brother caught his first, but not before loosing 2 cause they broke his line. i caught my limit and he took 2 home for the smoker. It was nice to get to have some brother time, with him being a senior in highschool and me with my new house, fiance, and son we dont get to spend as much time as we used to going fishing and hunting, so i really enjoy when we get the chance and it is still nice to catch just 1 more fish than him

Sounds like a wonderful time there.
I know exactly what you mean. I'm finishing up college and I don't get to fish with my younger brothers as much now too. It's always great to get out with them......and of course catch more fish.

Nice!! Glad to see it worked out for you and your brother... something tells me this won't be your last trip for steel together... may have just started a new 'end of october' tradition other than Halloween.
