Can someone tell me why the 24.5 # Brown Trout thread was locked. Was it just a joke? And what happened to the second post?

It was placed on both the NY boards and the Pa boards... I believe the Pa one was locked, the NY one wasn't

in that statement DB used the word erie as an adjective (a.k.a noun modifier for the English vocabulary challenged). interesting choice of words. carry on

I don't know - you will have to ask him. I simply commented on his syntax and sentence structure. ...but tossing a million fish in small creeks for the unwashed masses of 3 states to gather around does have the tendency to produce an awful lot of riff-raff...

FYI
As someone once told me on one of the tribs (shortly before he and his buddy got hit with $1000 in fines, and got their equipment taken) anything in the head is good, isn't it?

And it's 5 states. Fished with two guys from Va. today, and last week with a couple of guys from W Va. We didn't discuss hygiene tho.
