Beautiful fish! I've caught several tigers but they were usually 9-12 inches, never a brute like that.

Nice fish. I am not suprized your two biggest have been Tigers. They have Hybrid Vigor - they grow faster and larger than either of the parent species. That is how Ligers (lion tiger hybrid) get so ginormous.

NIce fish. I caught one tiger before when I was younger. Had no idea thats what it was till someone told me. Awesome catch.

The state quit stocking them a few years ago. Too many of the eggs did not hatch (at least that was what I was told by a WCO). The only ways they get in the streams now is by private hatcherey stocking, usually by sportsman clubs and other groups. They do occur naturally where both wild browns and native brookies breed, but it is very rare.
