Fishing Sofware

I am sick of using my notebook and am looking for a PC application to store information about my gear, trips, catches etc.

Anyone have any preference on one of these?

Your help is appreciated.

    Database Fishing Tool (DaFT) is a front-end to any database that can be connected to with an ODBC driver. DaFT allows you to browse the database objects, view data in tables and views, and create and execute SQL statements, also as a script, including variable scanning.
    DaFT contains a database objects list (tables and views), list of columns and column properties, a table for data snapshots, detailed data view, a notepad, a table for viewing the outcome of select statements, T-SQL or PL/SQL statements, a SQL statement editor with syntax highlighting, and a screen to follow all ODBC driver messages. All selected data can be saved into a file.
    The supported file formats are HTML, XLS, CSV, SyLK, and DIF. The SQL statements can be saved into a text file.

    This database program lets you organize all aspects of your fishing activities, but using it can be a baffling and frustrating process.
    The program's main window not only is cluttered and confusing, it's also quite difficult to use. We had to spend a good deal of time digging through the help files to figure out how to add a simple record.
    In terms of features, and detail, Fishing Log Pro fares much better.
    You can log just about every bit of information about your fishing trips, including species caught, time of catch, location, bait used, air temperature, and wind speed.
    You can append pictures to any records, print reports of your fishing escapades, and generate graphs.
    The app even contains an Inventory module for keeping stock of your gear.
    Though this program is far too user-unfriendly for casual anglers, prolific or professional fisherman with time to invest likely will find it covers most of the bases.

    Thanks guys. Have you used one or the other and have any preference?
    I plan to try all three and see which one I like most. Will report back.
