"One Fly" Thank-You!
I would like to take the opportunity to thank all the people who attended the "One Fly" this year and especially thank the people who made it happen: Skip & Debi, Hans & Vickie, Karen and Chris, and John. Without these people the event would never have occurred. The event was a great success and I hope everyone has a great year.

Thanks aren't needed Jack... we were glad to be able to do a small part. The looks on the faces of the Vets and others was thanks enough for our part.

yes thanks to all of you for a great time.was my son-in-laws first steelhead trip and he had a great time.
was great to put a face to a name skip.I will be looking forward to going again it sure isn't the catching

I guess like the saying goes..... "All good things come to an end" and my past 5 days here in Erie will come to an end tomorrow morning when I leave for home. I couldn't leave here without saying my word of thanks for one of the most memorable times I have had here. Like Pops told me many years ago - "It ain't always about the catchin'" - he knew what he was talking about. Saturday was truly a special day for all of us and it was my honor to witness it all.
To Jack and Skip - my thanks to ya for all your hard work. To John - well brother - all I can say is it was very special to me to get to know you a little better. Ray - you made my trip up here a special one. To Deb - thanks for all your hard work in everything you did. Karen - your generosity was so touching to me. And to Deetz - thanks my friend for sharin the drift. It was a pleasure once again. There are many who I know I left out - but you know who you are and you all are special people to give of your time to bring this together. It was a very good day to be together.
I read that there is talk about the future of this event. Either way .... whatever happens..... Saturday was a day I will never, ever forget. And all who worked so hard to put it all together must know that they created something that was special to many of us. It was a day to show our honor to five veterans and it was a day for us all to get together. You were all successful in creating a very good memory for all who attended.

My husband and I had such a wonderful time! I hadn't been up to see a sunrise in ages! The food was wonderful and it was great watching everyone having such a good time. We thank you for putting on such a really wonderful event.
