Fished the Mon yesterday 10/8, not much to report
We launched at Black Diamond around 10am and headed up stream to the closed bridge, we floated downstream for a few hours. First cast of the day, my son landed a catfish of all things on a plug. I had a few bumps, but landed nothing. My oldest landed a half decent smallie around 3:30pm and that was it! Water temp was 59 and stained, we saw a lot of crap in the water upstream and it seemed to just follow us down. By the time I got back to Black Diamond I really had to watch for sticks, branches and clumps of crap.
A couple of skiiers in wet suits, one jet skiier, one idiot who must have thought that I was invading his personal space as he sat his fat****in his 28' boat with his fat assed wife and later intentionally buzzed me to pi*s me off. I guess there is a jack off in every crowd! Maybe he was throwin' one to the old broad and I broke his rythm???
Nice day on the water with both of my sons, more fish would have made the sunburn worth it though.

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.
